70% Ethyl Alcohol + 4% CHG: According to studies, the dosage used is higher than the standard (0.5%) to compensate for the reduced effectiveness of CHG due to the addition of surfactants. The recommended CHG dosage when combined with surfactants is 2-4%. Surfactants (soap) have two functions: hydrophobic and hydrophilic. The hydrophobic property dissolves fats or the cell membranes of bacteria and viruses, while the hydrophilic property dissolves those membranes with water. The double antiseptic is more effective and works synergistically. Contains moisturizers to prevent dry hands.
